Teknia, a preferred manufacturing partner thanks to its multi-technology capabilities

Rodrigo Marín

The automotive sector has always been characterised by its constant evolution. At the moment, there is no doubt that it is one of the sectors that face the most significant challenges—adapting to a paradigm shift where new forms of mobility are already a reality. Therefore, all automotive industry companies must adapt at great speed to the new needs of customers and society.

At Teknia, we are a Spanish family-owned company in the components sector with more than 30 years of experience manufacturing mobility solutions for our customers, from vehicle manufacturers to other suppliers in the value chain. In this sense, we aim to contribute and put our advanced manufacturing solutions atthe service of our customers and industry. We are all currently experiencing great changes that will decide our future mobility. We are ready to contribute to it thanks to our products and technologies.

So, at Teknia, we are committed to the group's multi-technological capabilities through metal and plastic components and parts. The five major technologies—tube foaming, stamping, plastic injection, aluminum HDPC and machining—provide us with the experience and manufacturing knowledge necessary to offer customer the best manufacturing solutions. Moreover, thanks to our efforts for continuous improvement and constant capacity development, we can always provide the best manufacturing solutions to preferred manufacturing solutions that our customers demand, with a very clear objective—to go from being a supplier of specific solutions to a preferred manufacturing partner for our customers.

How do we achieve this? By following the company's strategic line of continuous improvement, the development of key areas such as advanced manufacturing and the reinforcement of our production capacities with the acquisition of new plants. In 2022, Teknia has incorporated two plants in Suttgart (Germany) and Vimmerby (Sweden) with key technologies and components for the future of mobility. We believe that is the best way to continue offering the best manufacturing solutions at all levels.

This means that we can participate in the component development process with our customers so that, thanks to our experience as manufacturers, we can co-develop with the customer to provide a differentiating value, improve the manufacturing process and provide the best mobility solutions for them.

Thus, this moment in the industry requires companies with an innovative approach, a deep understanding of the market's needs and a close collaboration with manufacturers to build the mobility of today and tomorrow. At Teknia, we are convinced of this and will continue to focus on developing the best technologies to support new and traditional mobility players.
